This week, our very own Steve Laker delivered placards and posters to the A Pound A Bottle campaigners at Downing Street, where they were gathered to protest against the level of duty on wine and to deliver their petition to Chancellor Alistair Darling. The peaceful protest, organised by Catherine Monahan of Clink! Wines and Le Beast, was widely reported in the media. As you can see from the photo, Steve was privileged enough to meet Le Beast himself:

"I called up Steve at London Print Brokers on a Sunday morning hoping I could find someone who could print our posters and placards within 1-2 days notice! (Unreasonable, I know!) I could hear his kiddies in the background and was met by a selfless guy who does all he can to not only offer oustanding value for money and fit into your budget, but also offers a kind, personal one-to-one service you rarely find nowadays. By Sunday evening nearly everything was organised and the job was ready within perfect timing on the day. I wouldn't go anywhere else and will certainly use them again."
